Ingredients
  • 2 cups Tandoori Atta (multigrain / high-fiber atta)
  • ¾ – 1 cup water (as required for kneading)
  • 1 tsp oil or ghee (for kneading)
  • Salt to taste (optional)
  • Dry flour for rolling
  • Butter or ghee for brushing (optional)
Instructions
  • 1 In a bowl, add tandoori atta, salt, and mix well.
  • 2 Gradually add water and start kneading into a medium-soft dough.
  • 3 Add oil and knead again for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
  • 4 Cover and rest the dough for 10 minutes.
  • 5 Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into round balls.
  • 6 Dust each dough ball with flour and roll into a slightly thick roti.
  • 7 Heat the tawa on medium-high flame.
  • 8 Place the rolled roti on the tawa, cook until bubbles appear.
  • 9 Flip and cook the other side; then use tongs to cook directly on open flame to get that tandoor-style char.
  • 10 Brush with butter or ghee and serve hot with paneer, curry, or dal.

Soft inside and slightly crispy outside — perfect restaurant-style tandoori rotis at home using Tandoori Atta.
